Hello –
I’ve had a few users sign up and it says and email will be sent to verify their account, but it’s not sending. I went in and tried to resend and even did a test with myself. It’s still not working, I tried a few suggestions i found online but nothing is working and the main component of my site is having people join. I downloaded a plug in to test sending an email from wordpress and that is working it seems to be whatever widget is controlling it that is not?Thanks,

if this cannot be resolved is there a way to change the link on the register button so I could create my own register form?

Thank you for bring this issue to our attention. This issue can occur when your activation or registration email is either not send by your server -for instance, when mailing services are incorrectly set- or not received by your registering user because of his mail client spam filter.

The Register page cannot be edited directly. However, you can create new member profile field and choose to display them in the registration form. For more about this, please read the following post: Modifying the Registration Form.
Also please sure that you either log out of your website or use the private navigation from your browser to view your changes you’ve made to this page.
