Visibility option not working correctly

    Hi

    It looks like the visibility option is not working correctly. Some people want to hide where they live. To do this they have changed the visibility to only themselfs. However, the location is still visible on their profile and they are also visible on the map.

    Example: https://wappiez.com/leden/mireille/profile/

    Indeed, this field shouldn’t be displayed if it is set to private. Unfortunately, we have no clue of how to fix this. 🤔

    This issue is related with the BP xProfile Location. For this reason, it’s best if you try to reach the plugin authors. They will be more informed and better suited to help you.

    The author told me to read the readme.txt file. But I don’t understand where I can find this file. Do you know where I could find it?

    Kay thx. Unfortunately it looks like they think they’ve corrected the issue, but the issue is still there. Will probably need customisation.

    Please also make sure that you have the latest theme version and that all recommended plugins are up-to-date. Finally, you could also consider clearing all activated caching system as well as your browser cache before investigating any further. If you want to read more on what browser cache is and how to clear it, here is an article that might help you: How to Clear Internet Cache in Every Major Browser. In case the issue still appears, did you bring this to the author’s plugin?
