I need to translate ‘popular’, ‘newest’, … etc.
Where do i find these labels?

Are you using a plugin to translate your website?
If not, the best practise is to use Poedit. These strings should be located in BuddyPress plugin. Here is an article from our documentation that should help you:

The ducht language is 100% translated already. And the same filter in the widget area is translated correctly. Are you sure is not the theme calling for the english translation here? Not sure how this work. But i find it strange that on one place is showing correctly in Dutch and here in English.

These strings are located in Grimlock for BuddyPress plugin. As mentioned in the article, you have to translate all Grimlock plugins. Could you please translate this plugin by following the steps in this article?
