We investigated and tried to replicate this issue without success.
We think this issue might be related to a missing file in the theme or a custom code that have been added. Could you please erase the theme and reinstall it? Note that you don’t have to reset your website, just reinstall the theme. By restoring the theme, you’ll not lost anything and we believe that this issue should be fixed.
Don’t hesitate to keep us up to date.

Manhattan, I admit that deleting the theme is reinstalling it, that frankly doesn’t motivate me since I made a lot of changes and I’m afraid of not finding the final settings and customizations of my theme.

Don’t hesitate to make a backup before doing anything.
Anyway, all changes you might have done are saved in the data base, this is how WordPress works. Deleted the theme and reinstall it will not change a thing.
However, in case you added some CSS style in the theme files (not the customizer, I’m speaking of the style.css file in the theme folder or any other file in it), these snippets will be deleted. Is it your case?
