Hi Manathan!
I was wondering how to get the BBCode options to show on my forums as they do on this one. I tried installing GD bbPress Tools, thinking this may be what you’re using and while it allows for a signature and such in the profile, the plugin doesn’t seem to include the BBCode options in the reply. I’m curious what addon you’re using on here to achieve this?
I’ve included two screenshots below. The first is a snippet from this support forum showcasing the BBCode buttons I’m referring to, and the second is my site without any BBCode options.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Thank you, the code he provided on that page worked!
Is this going to be the fix that’s put in with the next update? I think it would be worth it so that people actually have some control over their text. Of course, this seems like it would require TinyMCE (now Advanced Editor Tools) to be part of your theme installation…

Glad to see all is working now!
As you might know, a theme affects the presentation and visual style of your site, while plugins add all kinds of features and functionalities. We think that this feature should be added by bbPress authors in their plugin. It might be dangerous for a theme to add/change a plugin functionality, as it is a plugin we didn’t developed. 🤔
