A citation, like a small sentence that the user can show on his profil. Also, a text box like an “about me” that a user can fill.
This last one could be already adding from custom field but would be nice to show it on profil.

Hi @pragmacafe,
Thank you for your feedback.
For the citation, you can already do something similar if you create a new “Citation” profile field and then go in Appearance > Customize > BuddyPress > Members and check your “Citation” field in the “Members Displayed Profile Fields” setting.
There are only two problems with that solution: your citation will also be displayed in your members list, and it will be on the same line as the other fields (name, age, gender). However if you are familiar with CSS, these two problems can probably be solved with a bit of CSS code.In any case, if other members of the community are showing their interest in this, we will consider finding a way to make it possible in the theme.
For the “about me”, as you suggested, the easiest solution here would be adding a new custom field, maybe even a new tab if you want it to stand out more. But unfortunately I don’t think we can add an option to display a field above the profile tabs, because we’d need to extract that specific field out of the tabs and that could cause other issues in the long term.
Regards,
