Hi @benbusiness,
You can change the background color for your mobile navigation bar in your Customizer. Simply go to your dashboard and navigate to “Appearance > Customize > Appearance > Navigation” and open the “Style” tab. There, you will find the theme option to change that color.
You can also combine it with the background color for your navigation during the scrolling motion.

Hi @benbusiness,
The issue of transparent menu is is certainly due to a plugin or WordPress itself.
Usually, this issue stems from incorrect permissions for the theme fonts directory containing gwangi.ttf. In that case, your website is not able to open the font file, thus slowing the loading process or displaying an empty square for the missing icons.
Changing the permission settings to let the font file correctly load using your FTP client will probably fix your issue.
