Hi, the social media icons at the bottom of the page are not visible after the new update.

Hi @kalleshibg,
It seems that it’s not only the social menu icons, but all your site icons (cf. header, menus, etc.) that disappeared.
This looks like a problem that some of our users have already encountered.
The cause was a wrong permission on the font folders of your theme:
– https://support.themosaurus.com/forums/topic/css-errors-cart-icon-and-bell-icon-and-group-icons-are-missings/I advise you to check your folders permissions (more particularly for the “gwangi/assets/fonts/gwangi” folder of your theme). All of its content must have their permission set to 755. After that you can clear your browser cache and reload your website and you should see that the issue is resolved. If it still doesn’t work, please try with a different browser in case it is a cookie or caching issue.
This can also be due to a HTTPS configuration issue (presence of mixed http/https content on your page). I also recommend that you check the SSL configuration of your server.
Please Keep us informed of the progress of your problem :).
Best regards,

hi,
I got the folder permission set to 755 still not fixed. I dont know how and what to check the SSL configuration server. Only the social media icons are not displaying.December 26, 2018 at 23:52 #4295@themosaurus- 1 Topics

Hi
This issue seems to be more related with a HTTPS and SSL misconfiguration as the icons are displayed correctly when visiting any page of your website when using the HTTPS protocol.
Furthermore, the error causing your issue is stating a violation of the CORS policy:
Access to font at 'https://sangaati.in/wp-content/themes/gwangi/assets/fonts/gwangi/gwangi.woff?foirwg' from origin 'http://www.sangaati.in' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.
Please note that this issue is related with the server setting, not with the use of your theme. As theme authors, the installation, setting or debugging of third hosting servers isn’t part of the support we will provide.
You should try to reach your hosting service support and ask them why your “www.” URLs aren’t supporting the HTTPS and all URLs without this prefix are working fine.
We believe that they’ll be better informed and more able to help you.
Regards,
