I have activated the “Match me for BuddyPress” plugin and it shows the matching percentage on the member profile page but it does not show the heart icon on member card on the member directory. (I found out about that icon from here: https://support.themosaurus.com/forums/topic/how-to-make-a-matchmaking-notification/)

Hi @elaheh,
I’m not sure if this is an issue with our theme or if it has been purposefully removed from our product in the latest updates.
Could you the URL to your website with us please? You can post it in your next reply and mark it as private to keep this between us.
Thank you.

Hi @elaheh,
Yes could you create a new website user for us please? If possible with administrator capabilities so we can make a quick check of your settings.
You can post the user name and password in your next reply and mark it as private to keep this between us.Cheers,

Hi @elaheh,
Thank you for your precious feedback. There is definitely an issue in our theme which will be fixed in the next update.
In the meantime, simply add the following code snippet to your website:
.bp-card-list .hmk-trigger-match .generic-button:before { content: '\e946' !important; font-family: 'gwangi' !important; background: rgba(0,0,0,.3); }
To add this code snippet to your site, we recommend that you paste it to the Custom CSS panel of your WordPress Customizer. Just go to your dashboard and navigate to “Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS”.
Pasting your code snippet there should do the trick for you.
Note that your previous screenshot was taken in a very old version of the Gwangi theme and may not represent the actual display of this feature.
Regards,

Thank you for your support.
I have 2 general questions,
1. Will the theme update automatically?
2. I have not created any child theme as I have read in one of your customer’s questions that there is no need to create a child theme. I d like to be sure about thatApril 15, 2020 at 11:25 #11684@themopteryx- 0 Topics

Hi @elaheh,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to answer any question related with the setup of our theme.
However, it very difficult for us to provide the best support possible and to keep track of issues and their resolution if you have multiple questions in the same topic. Moreover, it’s easier for us to share the resolution for a single issue with other members of our community facing the same problem.
So, in the future could you create a new topic for each of your concern?
By doing this, you will be making a great contribution to this forum, and we thank you very much for that! For now, here are the answers to your two questions:
1) There is an automatic system provided by Envato. To update your theme, you can download and install the Envato Market plugin (https://envato.com/market-plugin/) on your WordPress site.
Once the plugin is installed and activated, go to “Envato Market” in your admin menu and follow the instructions under “Activate Envato API Connection”.
When this is done, you will see your purchased themes under the “Themes” tab and you should be able to update your theme from there by clicking the “Update available” button.2) Creating a child theme is a good practice but only necessary if you have advanced customization needs. For example, if you are working with an external developer or want to add custom code and extend some features by yourself.
Hope this will help.
Best regards,
