In the members directory while using the filters, at the bottom of the profile pictures, some words still need to be translated.
Could you direct me to the correct domain for me to have a look in?June 24, 2021 at 10:17 #32806@themodactyl- 0 Topics

Hi René,
Thanks for getting in touch! We’ve received your request and we’ll get you an answer shortly. 🙂
We really thank you for your patience!
In the meantime, feel free to check out the WPML documentation for more help: How do I translate the contents of fields in the user profile?.
Kind regards,

Yeah cause it’s weird. I did translate those words, but here they’re not translated. In another place they are. So, I guess there either multiple words, in that the second word can’t be found in WPML, or for some reason, in that spot the word’s aren’t being translated.

Hi René,
Thank you for your patience.
We investigated and found from where this issue is coming from. Please be aware that this issue is related to the WPML plugin. It seems WPML doesn’t get the standard profile fields of BuddyPress plugin and BuddyPress Multilingual plugin the same way that these plugins manage them. In fact, this issue is similar to this one:
The WPML plugin code needs to be adjusted. However, as the theme authors don’t plan to solve this issue, we decided to fix this ourselves. Unfortunately, no release date can be disclosed at the moment as we have a lot to work on.
Be sure we’ll be back to you as soon as the update is available.
Best,

Hi @wappiez,
This bug was caused by some misuse of BuddyPress hooks by WPML. The plugin authors have been notified and they scheduled tasks to fix this, but as we say ourselves, no release date can be disclosed at the moment.
In consequence, we have exceptionally taken charge of this issue and patched it in Grimlock for WPML v 1.0.2, which has been released earlier this week. Updating this plugin to the latest version should fix this issue.
After the update, the problem should now be fixed. However, you might still be seeing the issue because your browser cache is showing you an older version of the page (browsers do that to load pages faster). To see that the issue is resolved you will need to empty your browser cache and reload the page. If you want to read more on what browser cache is and how to clear it, here is an article that might help you: How to Clear Internet Cache in Every Major Browser.
In case this does not fix your issue, feel free to report it. We’ll try our best to correct this.
Thank you.

Many thx! However I’ve chosen to hid these words for now. But might come in handy in future different themes I will be purchasing.

You’re welcome. And I’m glad to read that you’re considering using other themes! That’s awesome!
Cheers,
