I’ve been able to successfully install the theme, but I can’t get any of the demo pages imported. I’ve updated my PHP to the latest version and have tried installing a different theme, then going back to Armadon. I am not able to increase my max execution time since I’m on a shared hosting plan. Ideally, I can get all of the demo pages loaded into my WordPress site and then I can edit each for my needs. Instead, my page looks very different, and it looks like only the member-related pages have been loaded. any help is appreciated so I can get my site back up and running properly!

Usually, the setup wizard should make the demo import run smoothly, but issues can occur sometimes. Reading your topic, it seems you already followed the steps of our article :
In most cases, these type of issues are caused by server misconfigurations. Please check the WordPress prerequisites here: WordPress Requirements.

It looks like I was able to get more pages imported but the layout of the website isn’t exactly like the demo. The menu is different and I am not seeing the layout properly when I view the site. Is there any way to directly import pages as they are shown on the website?
Hi Fred,
When running the theme setup multiple times, it can be messy as you tried to import the same content multiple times.
In this case, we really suggest you to reset your WordPress database using WP Reset (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-reset/) and start fresh with the setup wizard. If the import is not successful, you have to find why and solve this so you can import the full demo of your choice.
You can easily install the theme by relaunching the setup wizard, as it will programmatically do every step for you. Did you follow the steps on my previous reply?

Thanks for the recommendation. I’ve tried resetting everything and I still get the same result. I’ve also tried following all the steps in your previous reply. Do you know of any other causes that may result in an incomplete demo page upload?
I’m also not 100% sure that I am importing the theme correctly. I read that I need to upload the child theme and parent theme separately, but these zip files don’t include the following folders:
– demos
– pluginsDo I need to upload the “demos” folder separately somehow?

You can import the demo of your choice from the child theme or the main theme. It should not be a problem! 🙂
To help us getting clues and find the source to this issue, please activate logging on your website, just turn WP_DEBUG to true, by pasting the following code lines in your wp-config.php file, just before the line that says ‘That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging.’:

Thanks, I was able to get most of the pages imported. Do you know how to add images for the categories on the home page in the screenshot attached?

I’m glad to read that!
Note that when editing the categories or tags, you’ll find an Icon field to select the icon of your choice. And only for Categories: you’ll be able to select a thumbnail. Please find the attached screenshots.
