Dear Support Team,
we are not able to import the demo content of Gwangi Dating Theme. Here are the details:
1. New and clean wordpress installation
2. Clean Database
3. Uploaded Theme and installed all required plugins for Dating theme
4. Until Demo Import everything seems to work fine.
5. Demo Content does not upload – stuck at 0%– Our server settings are ok with 512MB memory for this project and 300 max execution & input time
Please check my logs to this case attached.
ADDITIONAL QUESTION: is RT media Plugin required, as we would prefer to use Youzify. Or are both in combination compatible and recommended?
Thank you in advance,

Hi Marvin,
Thank you for buying our theme. We hope it will meet all your expectations! 🙂
Usually, the setup wizard should make the demo import run smoothly, but issues can occur sometimes. Please give a quick look to the following post, as we address the most installation common issues:
In most cases, these type of issues are caused by server misconfigurations. Please check the WordPress prerequisites here: WordPress Requirements.
For better performance (and better security) we obviously recommend the version 7.4 or greater for PHP. Nevertheless, if this is not possible for you (server type, incompatibilities with plugins, etc.) we recommend at least version 5.6.X.Finally, this topic might also catch your attention as one of our user shared the server configuration that has helped him to solve a similar issue:
We hope this will help! Once you followed all the steps mentioned above, please come back to me. 🙂
Thank you for bring this other issue to our attention. We’re glad to answer any question related with the setup of our theme.
However, it is very difficult for us to provide the best support possible and to keep track of issues and their resolution if so many questions are asked in the same topic. Moreover, it’s easier for us to share the resolution for a single issue with other members of our community facing the same problem.
So, could you move your other question into a different topic, please? One question = one topic.
By doing this, you will be making a great contribution to this forum, and we thank you very much for that!Thank you.

Hi Marvin,
Thank you for your feedback. 🙂
In that case, it’s best if we take a quick look at this. Could you create a new website user for us please? If possible with administrator capabilities so we can make a quick check of your settings.
You can post the user name and password in your next reply and mark it as private to keep this between us.Also, are we free to deactivate plugins for our tests? In this case, I invite you to make a backup before we investigate your website further in order to make sure you don’t loose any data if something goes wrong.
Thank you.

Hi Marvin,
It seems that there is a general problem on the web because of a Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate that expired a few days ago. As this article points out, this deletion seems to cause a lot of problems on many sites: Fortinet, Shopify and more report issues after root CA certificate from Lets Encrypt expires.
We investigated to find the solution but it seems that at this point, there is nothing we can do. We’re really sorry for this inconvenient. In this specific case, we suggest you to import the demo manually.
In your Themeforest profile, in the Download part, you can download the package of the theme you bought. When you’ll click on Download, you’ll see some options to get specifics files. We suggest you to click on All files & documentation. Then, unzip this file. You’ll find any files needed to import the demo correctly in it.
Secondly, install the theme on your website without launching the Theme Setup. You’ll find the theme in the unzipped folder. Go to theme and upload the zip on your website by going in Dashboard > Appearance > Themes > Add New. If you need some help concerning the theme installation, this article from our documentation might catch your attention: Installing Your Theme / Importing Demo Content
Then, you need to download the needed plugins on your website BEFORE importing the pages content. To know which plugin you need, please take a look at our ThemeForest page. You’ll be able to learn more about the compatible plugins with our theme and their functionalities.
After installing all the plugins you need, please take a look in your DashBoard. On the top of the DashBoard, you might see this notice:
The following required plugins are currently inactive: Envato Market, Grimlock and Kirki Toolkit. The following recommended plugins are currently inactive: Grimlock Animate, Grimlock Login and Member Swipe for BuddyPress.
Note that the listed plugins might be different as it depends of the plugins you installed on your website. In this warning notice, click on Begin activating plugins and install all the required and recommended plugins. If this notice isn’t displayed, it means all necessary plugins are already installed.
Finally, your website is ready for the content import. Here are some articles form our documentation that might help you:
- Exporting and Importing the Customizer Options
- Importing The Widgets Manually on Your Website
- Importing Manually Posts and Pages
Once you followed these steps, your website should be running perfectly. 🙂
In case you need more help with this, please don’t hesitate to come back to us.
Cheers,

Thanks for the guide to workaround the issue. As I can see, the SSL connection issue is on your side, while connecting to your server in order to download the import files – is that correct? If yes, when do you think this issue will be solved? Isn’t it enough to use another SSL certificate which is not affected by these Let’s Encrypt Root Certificate?

You’re welcome Marvin. We thank you for your advise. 🙂
Unfortunately, this issue is more complicated and our host company doesn’t have a solution at the moment. Be sure we’re working on it and we’ll be back to you as soon as we found how to solve this.
Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,
