    Hi @kyagi,

Thank you for your nice feedback. 🙂

My best guess is that your issue might probably caused by some conflicting third party plugin or some extra code snippet as we don’t encounter this issue with our demos.

Could you deactivate all plugins that have not been installed with your theme during its setup and all existing custom PHP code snippets please? And then, could you confirm me that the issue is still persisting please?

Please also make sure that you have the latest theme version and that all recommended plugins are up-to-date. Finally, you could also consider clearing all activated caching system as well as your browser cache before investigating any further.

    Thank you.

    Hi @kyagi,

Thank you for your feedback. 🙂

It’s best if we take a quick look at this…

Could you create a new website user for us please? If possible with administrator capabilities so we can make a quick check of your settings.
You can post the user name and password in your next reply and mark it as private to keep this between us.

Also, are we free to deactivate plugins for our tests? In this case, I invite you to make a backup before we investigate your website further in order to make sure you don’t loose any data if something goes wrong.

    Thank you.

    Hi,
    hosting provider tell me:

at the webserver level there is no problem of slowness or of any other kind, I invite you to install the plugin indicated above for cache management.
following our analysis, it is possible to optimize the site by installing wp fastest cache (very light and functional plugin), enabling all possible compressions, optimizing the images through the http://www.compressor.io tool, verifying that all the plugins and the core of WordPress are up to date and that there are no obsolete plugins as they can create enormous slowness.

    Regards,
    Giuseppe

    Hi @kyagi,

    Thank you for your patience!

First and foremost, please check the WordPress prerequisites here:

    Requirements

For better performance and improve security, we obviously recommend PHP 7.3+. Nevertheless, if this is not possible for you (server type, incompatibilities with plugins, etc.), we recommend at least version 5.6.X.

We use WP Engine to host all our demos (https://wpengine.com/) and we really recommend it. It’s more expensive, but it’s high quality. The performance of your website can also be improved, like our demos, by WP Rocket (https://wp-rocket.me/) or WP Fastest Cache. Finally, we may also recommend Imagify (https://imagify.io/), to shrink your images with lowest quality loss.

You can always add more stuff to improve your page loading time but this is a pretty good start.

Please be aware that too many plugins will considerably slow down your page loading time. So, we advise to stick to the bare minimum!
Our theme offers a built-in setup wizard if you wish to import one of our demos but you can skip it and start your website without installing any plugin or importing any demo content as only two plugins (Grimlock and Kirki) are actually required to make our theme perfectly work. Not every use-case is the same and we believe that our customers should be left with the decision of what to and not to install. You can rest assured that our theme will work fine and perform better without few plugins installed.

Finally, this topic might also catch your attention as one of our user shared the server configuration that has helped him to solve a similar issue:
    https://support.themosaurus.com/forums/topic/import-content-page-loading-forever/#post-12500

Concerning the references to maps files, these warnings should not cause any issue. To find out more, click on the following link. Not that this topic is about Cera theme, but the issue is the same.
    https://support.themosaurus.com/forums/topic/missing-source-map-files-create-unnecessary-server-load/

We hope this will help! 🙂

    Kind regards,

    Giuseppe

Thanks so much @themodactyl, at the end I’ve changed host with cpanel and ssd hdd, gorgo theme is superfast now. I’ve also added “Buddypress Docs” and “The Events Calendar” Plugins that I need and all is perfect with all plugins activated.
With the other host there are some incompatibilities diffcult to diagnose.
Now I can focus on developing the project.

    Kind Regards,
    Giuseppe
