I tried to install the Cera Learn demo.
However, my Vertical NavBar doesn’t have symbol icons like the demo. Plus, I also have no option to add Dashboard to the NavBar.
Lastly, I also not have the Menu Bar as the Demo.
I just purchased this yesterday and I have had to delete and recreate my website with the hope that when I reinstall Cera, the Demo will be properly installed. However, it seems like the Demo page is just not properly installing .My-website-menu-bar Cera-Learndemo-Menu-Bar My-website-NavBar-with-no-symbols Cera-learndemo-Vertical-NavBar-May 29, 2020 at 17:41 #13296
Thank you for bring these issues to our attention. We’re glad to answer any question related with the setup of our theme.
However, it very difficult for us to provide the best support possible and to keep track of issues and their resolution if you so many questions in the same topic.
Moreover, it’s easier for us to share the resolution for a single issue with other members of our community facing the same problem.
So we’ll address the installation issue first and then, could you move your other questions (navbar, missing menu items etc.) into different topics? Is that OK for you.
By doing this, you will be making a great contribution to this forum, and we thank you very much for that! 🙂
Thank you.May 30, 2020 at 16:20 #13349May 30, 2020 at 16:26 #13351
Yup I did. The Demo never uploaded in full.
I have deleted my website multiple times and reinstalled the Demo many times (I tried all demo), but it just won’t download well.
Currently, I am using Intranet- Cera Demo and still not working!
Everytime I upload the demo, it never upload as on your site. Everytime, I need to add the widgets myself and it comes with no ICON.
I am really getting tired of this all now.
I though if I installed the program and the Demo, I will automatically get the “EXACT” as the demo and I only need to twick a bit. But now, I am actually building it from scratch and I don’t have time for that!What-my-Intranet-Cera-Nav-Bar-looks-like-after-I-added-the-widgets What-Intranet-Cera-Nav-Bar-looks-like-with-Icons-May 30, 2020 at 20:46 #13375
@opeyemiogun Usually, the setup wizard should make the demo import run smoothly, but issues can occur sometimes. Please give a quick look to the the following post, as we address the most installation common issues:
In most cases, these type of issues are caused by server misconfigurations. Please check the WordPress prerequisites here: https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/
For better performance (and better security) we obviously recommend the version 7.2 for PHP. Nevertheless, if this is not possible for you (server type, incompatibilities with plugins, etc.) we recommend at least version 5.6.X.
Finally, this topic might also catch your attention as one of our user shared the server configuration that has helped him to solve a similar issue:
The missing icons issue frequently stems from incorrect permissions for the theme fonts directory containing cera.ttf. In that case, your website is not able to open the font file, thus slowing the loading process or displaying an empty square for the missing icons.
Changing the permission settings to let the font file correctly load using your FTP client will probably fix your issue.
