Dear Support/Community,
I feel little bit bad to ask for help, cause this issue is mostly related to my own fault, but I dont not find solution on my own :(.
On monday I made a lot of changes to our WordPress instance. Adding php scripts, installing new plugins, configure pages, update WordPress from 6.5.4 to 6.5.5.After I finished all these tasks, I did not notice any issue on core website.
But then, on different device, I noticed that fonts are broken. Screenshots below.I cleared the cache on the developing device manually and indeed – fonts also broken there.
What I tried to figure out issue origin:
– Removing php scripts.
– Disabling all plugins / Disabled Grimlock do fix it, but of course is required.
– Compared all .css, .php, .html and .js files from backup and current state. Found differences, but non seem to be related to that issue. Mostly due to WordPress upgrade.
– Spend 4 hours in chrome developer console to find the CSS line who’s font-family has impact on all content. No success.I am clueless. Also because the icons are not “bold” anymore. Which CSS class has impact on text and icons?
Can you assist me? Recovering backup would be last resort. Database is not only used by this site.
Website is not public, cannot share link.PS: In backend theme customizer its not broken.

Hi Floyd,
Kirki is the plugin managing fonts for our theme. Usually, it dynamically loads them in Customizer for better previewing the changes and then, it downloads the desired font files to your server to improve page loading times.
Issues related with loading server static files are frequently related with permission settings. Some fine tuning or changing the permission settings to let the font file correctly load using your FTP client will probably fix your issue.
But in some cases, you need to flush the cache for fonts path. The most common fix for that is certainly to entering this url (YOURSILEURL.COM/?action=kirki-reset-cache) and flush your browser cache too. For more, please read the following topics addressing the same issue:
Finally, if you’re using some caching software, please make sure to empty all your caches before testing again.
Best regards,
