So this only happened when I hosted it off of my server at home. After moving to a hosted server on namecheap the problem was resolved. I am still curious as to what caused the error but for now it works.
My issue was due to the paid membership plugins. I don’t have any use for them so after deactivating them the users showed up instantly.
I managed to fix the issue. It was due to the fact that it was not supporting php 8.0. Rolled back to 7.4 and it worked perfectly.
I enabled debugging and got this.

Just noticed it has a “Critical Error on the website” text shown in the center of the page.
