I set up a fresh WordPress installation with the new Gwangi theme, but the Favorite and Subscribe functionality is not working. However, when I activate the Twenty Twenty-Five theme, these features work fine.

I have confirmed that both the theme and the Grimlock plugins are up to date. I am currently using:
Gwangi Theme Version: 2.4.5
Grimlock Plugin Version: 1.6.1

The emails are not being shown in the log also.
There are default wordpress email they are working fine.
But buddy boss emails are not working out for me
I have added a fresh theme – with fresh wordpress installation the emails are still not working!
So there is a major issue in the theme setup.
