Hi Manathan,
Thank you for your suggestion.
I deactivated those php code snippets and the members are displaying properly on the second page, too. The issue no longer exists. You can take a look, too. However, my wish is to keep the Gwangy style on the Members/Groups Directory and on the Forums pages, because I like it more than Youzify display. If the code snippets I used cause display issues, what could be the solution to keeping the Gwangy display for Members and Groups Directory pages and Forums pages?
I would really appreciate it if you could give me a solution for that, because there are already 9 days since this issue persist and and it would be great if I could put the site online as soon as possible!

Hi Manathan,
Thank you for your reply.
Because you specify that, I think I have to mention something that might be connected to the issue.I disabled the Youzify template from certain pages, including Members Directory, Groups Directory and Forum, wanting to keep the Gwangi display.
Thus, in the Youzify documentation, I found some codes snippets which I added, as per their request, in the “public_html> wp-content> plugins> bp-custom.php”.Please, see the codes I used:
https://prnt.sc/1gmlgw1
https://prnt.sc/1gmlt2vI hope that helps.

Hi Manathan,
I noticed that you’ve been on my site. I have tried to put the site on maintenance mode till you find the solution. Unfortunately, it doesn’t accept at all any settings even if I installed SeedProd…
So, please take that into account, too, in order to avoid the contact with visitors.
Thanks,

Hi Manathan,
Thank you for your reply and suggestion.
I understand that and personally I could do it. Unfortunately, I am not asking for a solution for me, as admin.
Do you really think the users, possible hundreds, will follow all of them this path? What I need is a core solution for this issue… I need that blockquote to not appear automatically when a user posts a link.
If possible, please give me another solution. Thanks,

Hi Manathan,
Thank you for your reply!
I’m sorry, it’s my fault, I forgot to specify this!
The users and I posted only forums topics/replies using simple links, no blockquotes were used.
When I logged on to your demo I did the same thing as on my site. I only placed a link without any code around it.Moreover, in the Admin Dashboard -> Settings -> Forums I disabled Add toolbar & buttons to textareas to help with HTML formatting, supposing that this option could affect the display. Then, I placed again a link inside a forum reply, but the same thing happened.
So, you are right! There are blockquotes, but you have to know that they are added automatically and I do not find any settings to disable them.
Please advise.

Hi Manathan,
Thank you for your reply and suggestions!
I understand that this issue is related probably with the customization of BP or BBP and I searched a lot for a solution. I also tried many snippets from other users’ replies from the BP/BBP forums; unfortunately, nothing works for me.
I was very surprised at the number of people having the same issue and seeking a solution for about 8 yrs on the BP/BBP forum and nobody giving them any kind of support. Sad, isn’t it?
Anway, I noticed something that caught my attention. I logged in on your demo and posted a topic on a forum. Then, on the Activity stream page, I inspected elements on both your demo and my site.
It seems that on my site an unnecessary “wp-embedded-content
” class is added:
my site: https://prnt.sc/131jluo
yours: https://prnt.sc/131jnq7Manathan, I really need your support. Please help me understand the difference. I would like to know what I should do in order to avoid the effect of that class.
Thank you in advance!

Hi Manathan,
I found the solution.
For all of you that are using the Optimole plugin, if you get blurred avatar images, then access:Settings -> Advanced -> Exclusion ->Don’t optimize images if -> select Images Class -> contains avatar

Hi Manathan,
Thank you for the confirmation!
If this will help others, I forgot to add the rest of the missing codes discovered (for the properly display of item-title and item-meta):ul.item-list:not(.activity-list):not([class*="yz-"]) > li { flex-wrap: nowrap; } ul.item-list:not(.activity-list):not([class*="yz-"]) > li > div:first-of-type { display: flex; margin-right: 0rem; }
Thank you again!
P.S.: Regarding the emails alert, I checked all Inbox, Spam, Social and Promotions, but nothing there…
Anyway, I’m happy we can keep in touch on this way! 🙂Reagrds,

I will ask for the help of the Optimole author in order to exclude the avatars from optimization and I am sure that this issue will be solved in the end. 🙂

Hi Manathan,
Sorry for my late reply. I didn’t see your message, even if I have checked for several times.
Thank you so much for getting back to me with your advice! I really appreciate it!I did as you told me, but the snippet didn’t work for me. :/
I’m not sure why…Apart from that, I tried to figure it out Inspecting Elements of your Community demo in parallel with my site. I followed the css classes and discovered that one of those on your site was missing on my site. 🙂
I’m not very good at such technical things, but maybe my “discovery” can help. 🙂
There is this css on your demo of the Groups section on the Homepage:.widget ul { padding-left: 0; list-style: none; }
On my site it was:
.elementor-widget ul.item-list { padding-left: 0; list-style: none; }
, but it was cut, as not being active.
Then, I copied this code and placed it in “Appearance> Customize> Additional CSS”.This solved my problem, and now the third Layout of Groups are displaying properly on the mobile.
Please advise if this solution is recommended.P.S.: For two days since you replied to me, I couldn’t see your input, even if I checked on my topics. Probably, is worted you to create an email alert for your customers and use it every time when you send a reply. 🙂

Hi Manathan,
I received the answer from the Optimole author, in connection to blurring members’ avatars.
This is what they say:This happens because you have fixed width and height defined for those avatar images – https://vertis.d.pr/0IvPVI
Optimole respects those options and optimizes the image to that requested size –
https://mlxftc4vb5bs.i.optimole.com/LeHxhWc.xPLV~539a/w:52/h:52/q:80/https://membri.romaniidepretutindeni.com/wp-content/uploads/avatars/2/60777a066c1b5-bpthumb.jpgWhile your original images are not resized – https://membri.romaniidepretutindeni.com/wp-content/uploads/avatars/2/60777a066c1b5-bpthumb.jpg
Because you also use image to cover the element and modify the height that resized version of the image served by Optimole gets blurry.
I recommend removing those fixed width and height sizes from the img elements or increase their sizes.
Please advise me what I have to do in order to solve this issue.
Kind regards,

Hi Manathan,
Thank you for your advice. It helped me!
Yes, you’re right! I use the Optimole plugin to optimize the images on the site. I use it on several of my sites and I am happy with it, but it seems that here it has greatly affected the clarity of members’ avatars when displayed in a circle shape.
I deactivated it for a moment and the images became clear.
I contacted the plugin authors and I am waiting for their support in this regard. 🙂Thanks again for your support. I really appreciate that!

Hi Manathan,
I followed your advice and that helped me. I contacted the plugin author and, for the moment, my issue is solved.
Anyway, I wanted to let you know his answer in the hope that it might help you, too:Hi Michael,
The problem is in the filters template, located in:
/plugins/grimlock-buddypress/templates/members/bps-filters.php
It does no longer work after BP Profile Search 5.4, as explained in:
https://dontdream.it/bp-profile-search-5-4/
I suggest you contact the plugin authors so they can update their
template to the new structure. In the meantime, you have two options:
1) Rename the above mentioned file to something else, so the BP
Profile Search built-in template takes over.If the result is not good, try the second option:
2) Roll-back BP Profile Search to version 5.3.5, using:
As I understand, there is, in fact, an issue with the Grimlock BuddyPress plugin.
Maybe you take it into account for the next updates.Thank you again for your support!
Best!

Hi Manathan,
Thank you for your reply. I appreciate it.
I’m afraid that what you advised me doesn’t work.
I read those articles and many more besides them, but no succes. I tried different methods through Custom Css, Code Snippets and others, as suggested by plugins authors or other experts, but nothing helped.I suppose that these blurry round pictures of the members are not just related to BP. They are blurred in multiple places. See these:
1. On the forums – https://prnt.sc/11xbnri
2. In BP Better Messages plugin – https://prnt.sc/11xbo55
3. On the Blog page (articles authors) – https://prnt.sc/11xbovq
4. On the page of a specific article, below the title – https://prnt.sc/11xbq0vAs you can see, they are not clear at all.
Not being a developer or an expert, I couldn’t figure out what the problem might be and I would really, really appreciate if you could take a few minutes to help me solve this issue.Thank you!

Hi Manathan,
Thank you for your reply. I appreciate that.
I’m sorry, I probably wasn’t very clear.
I didn’t refer to the filter button you pointed in your screenshot.
In my screenshot https://prnt.sc/1191dqt I tried to draw the missing top bar that was showing the filters used by the user.I thought it was a problem just for me and I wanted to take a screenshot from your demo to show you what I meant. But I haven’t found that top bar in your demos, too.
Sorry, I don’t know how to explain otherwise… It was a top bar showing the filters used in a slightly transparent black background. Please advise.
Thank you again!
